How to buy Pokémon and One Piece cards from Japan
Most Japanese card shops do not ship overseas. Collectors outside Japan usually choose between three routes.
1. Proxy buying services
A proxy buys from a Japanese shop or marketplace on your behalf and forwards the item. You pay the item price, a service fee, domestic shipping in Japan and international shipping, and you often cannot see the exact card before it is bought.
2. International marketplaces
Sellers in Japan list on international marketplaces. Check the seller's history and whether the photos show the actual card.
3. Direct shops in Japan
A shop based in Japan that sells in your currency and ships to you directly. JapanGemVault is one: prices are in USD, we source the card in Japan after your order, email you photos of your exact card, then ship from Kumamoto with tracking. We are a registered Japanese company (Clair Home Co., Ltd.) — see about us.
Compare the total
Compare the delivered price, not the item price: item + fees + shipping + import duties. Duties depend on your country; see shipping & duties.
Can't find a card?
Request it and we will search the Japanese market for you.
