How we verify

We don't ask you to take our word for it. Condition disputes are the biggest risk in buying cards online, so we email photos of your exact card or box — and the PSA cert number for graded cards — before anything ships.

1Sourced in JapanAcquired in the Japanese domestic market, where these cards actually circulate.
2Cert verifiedFor graded cards, every certification number is checked against PSA's database before the card ships.
3Photographed as-isYou get photos of the exact card, slab or box you receive, on the listing or by email before it ships.
4Packed properlyWrapped, braced inside a rigid box and sealed against moisture before it leaves Kumamoto.

Check us before you buy

Take the cert number from any listing and enter it at psacard.com/cert. The card, the set and the grade should match our listing exactly. If they ever don't, don't buy — and tell us.

Why Japanese cards

Higher gem rates. Japanese card stock is thicker and the print process more precise; modern Japanese cards reach PSA 10 at rates commonly reported between 60% and 89%, well above English printings.

Released first. Japanese sets arrive four to six months ahead of the English release.

Smaller populations. Fewer Japanese cards are graded overseas, so populations stay lower.
